ELM GROVE, WI - SUNSET PLAYHOUSE announces open auditions for the Jeff Daniels deer hunting comedy ESCANABA IN DA MOONLIGHT on Monday, July 28, and Tuesday, July 29. Callbacks may take place on Wednesday, July 30. All auditions will be from 7:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. at the Playhouse, 800 Elm Grove Road. Please call to express interest, although walk-ins are welcome. Needed are 4 men looking in their 30s to maybe 60s-plus and 1 woman looking in her 30s to maybe 60s-plus. Auditions will consist of reading from the script.
Scripts can be checked out at the Box Office (12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, and 1-4 p.m. on Saturdays) with a $10 deposit. Rehearsals begin September 15. Show dates are October 17-November 8, Thursdays through Sundays. Call (262) 782-4430, x302.
