For the Pazinski family, the 1950s were years of prosperity, hope and chasing dreams. But dealing with wise-cracking Rudy, a precocious 12-year-old who wants to shop around for a more “fun” religion rather than keeping the faith with Sister Clarissa, his knuckle-rapping nemesis, may be more than they can handle. This hilarious look at growing up in the good old days is a smart and fun look at what it means to be a member of a family.

Over The Tavern

I so much enjoyed the performance I saw last night. While not a part of my life experience, the fine ensemble work that was exhibited here brought this story to life for me. The familial relationships struck a note of love and concern that I perceive as true and honest. The many humorous situations are a true part of family life also. Kudos to the cast, crew and director Brian Zelinski.
