One of the most compelling dramas ever presented on stage, screen or television makes its way to The Playhouse. At the end of closing arguments in a family murder case, a jury of ordinary citizens deliberates the fate of one man and whether he should live or die. A unanimous vote is blocked when one juror starts to question the evidence, forcing the other jurors to look past their prejudices and notions of justice to exact the proper verdict.

we had four people go to see it and we all really enjoyed it. we thought it was very well done
great
My wife and I really liked this play I have seen it before I thought the acting was good really enjoyed
Twelve Angry Men
One of the best plays we have seen at the Sunset Playhouse. Excellent casting.
12 Angry Men
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Sunset's production of 12 Angry Men. I was engaged throughout the performance, wondering who would turn and how. It was fun identifying each character's attitude in the context of the case at hand, watching them masterfully express and exchange bias while a young man's life hung in the balance. I would watch it again!
Twelve Angry Men
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the play. The acting, costumes, stage setting - - - everything about it was excellent. Btw, I hope 5 is the highest rating because that's my intention.
Characters
My wife and I and our guests all enjoyed the show. Our favorite character was Dan Esposito although there were a number of great characters. Dan was a former neighbor of ours and we always have enjoyed his performances
Awesome!
I really enjoyed the play! I love how well the jurors described the entire court appearance since we did not get to see that part. This play really put things in perspective for me and I loved how each juror slowly changed their decisions! I usually attend plays at Sunset because I'm a co-worker of Matt Patten and have always enjoyed the plays he is in!
Twelve Angry Mem
We throughly enjoyed the play "Twelve Angry Men". We enjoyed seeing Dan Esposito acting again in this production as well as all of the rest of the cast. Couldn't believe how fast the time went watching this play. We will definately come to the Sunset playhouse again in the future.
Very compelling
This was my first drama at Sunset. I was expecting to fall asleep but it was very gripping and the acting with the various types of men was well done. No chicks! No sex? It still caught and held my full attention. WTG!
12 Angry Men
My husband and I agree that this was one of the best plays you have put on this year. The acting was superb and very professional. We enjoyed this play very much. I hope that "5" means the best of all. You didn't specify.
12-ANGREY MEN
The play was phonomial. Henry Fonda would have been proud. No one player was above any of the rest the entire cast was great as well as the stage set. The only thing I missed was the rain and humidity but the taste was there. Great performance...
I enjoyed the subject of the jury very much.
It was a good play. We know Dan E. and of course enjoyed seeing him in the play. They all did great; every one of the 12 had their own personality to play out and they did a fantastic job doing it. I think when one knows one of the actors that helps to get into the production and of course you tend to focus more on the actor. It was a fun afternoon.
Twelve Angry Men
This is the first time we have been to the Sunset Playhouse to see a production. We found that Twelve Angry Men was playing on Saturday and it is one of our favorite stories/movies so we decided to give your theatre a try. Coming to your theatre was a pleasure and we hope to come for another show sometime soon. The staff before the show was welcoming and wonderful. The theatre is very nice and comfortable and we loved the production of this classic story. We were drawn into the story from the very beginning and the end, though we new what to expect was executed very well. Loved all of the actors and they did a fantastic job of portraying each character without over acting their parts. Just had a wonderful experience and hope that future shows will be just as wonderful. Thank you!
Twelve Angrey Men
One of the better plays in the past nine years we've been going to the Sunset. First half was more dramatic. The second half was good but could use a little more suspence. Everyone did a good job acting their parts. Even a few flubbed lines didn't detract from the overall good presentation of the story. Best play I've seen at the Sunset was Damn Yankees but that was because the singing was spectacular.
Twelve Angry Men
I thought Juror No. 3 stole the show. His authentic New York accent was well-practiced. He also was credible when he erupted, because the progression of his passion was timed perfectly. The entire cast was very good, from the jock to the "foreigner" and all in between. This is perhaps one of the best we've seen at Sunset. On another matter, I'm presuming you have a very talented young boy in the wings for "The Christmas Story" and for "Above the Tavern." With respect to the former, the movie will be hard to beat, given the excellent portrayals of the boy and his parents. We saw a spectacular performance of the Tavern in Chicago, then a very poor one at Peninsula Players afterward. Hope your young boy is as sparkling as the one in Chicago. One of the differences was that the Chicago star varied the pace of his lines, whereas in Door County, the kid rattled them off as though her were reciting the Catechism throughout the play. Good luck with both these productions. They deserve the best. We'll be there to see.
the play
so so I would not rave about it nor tell anybody you have to see this. noticed a small audience
Twelve Angry Men
Fantastic production. Juror #3 stole the show.
Twelve Angry Men
As I mentioned to Matthew Patten (friend and co-worker), the play was rivetting......characters spot-on, timing perfect, liked everything about it. Thank you for opportunity to review.
12 Angry Men
They were! And convincingly so! We have been season subscribers for almost 10 years and this has to be one of the best productions ever. So many roles requiring consummate acting skills. Thank you to all the actors for their (volunteer) participation!!
12 Angry Men
We saw 12 Angry Men last night. This was by far the best performance we have seen this year. Each and every actor gave their all and it reflected in their performance. The characters they portrayed were so integral to the story line and every actor was awesome! Their performance grabbed you right from the beginning and held you to the very end! Bravo!
TWELVE ANGRY MEN
I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE PERFORMANCE OF TWELVE ANGRY MEN. BUT LIKE ALMOST ALWAYS, ALL OF YOUR SUNSET PERFORMANCES ARE WONDERFUL. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. ALSO, MY WIFE ALSO LOVED IT.
12 Angry Men
This was a very good choice of play and it had an appeal to all age groups. Unlike the first play. The story line was very good and the characters each portrayed their parts excellently. At first I was wondering how I was going to keep focussed when the story was going to be about 12 men in a jury room. I had no problem. You were always wondering who might be next or how they might be convinced. Again Very Good all the way around.
Twelve Angry Men
Excellent performance. Never saw the original play, only the first movie, and second movie remake of this play. But can truthfully say that this was well done. All actors were totally believable in their roles. No special actor stood out because all characterizations were spot on. Job well done, directorial, stage manager, etc. First time to see a performance in the Sunset Playhouse, but won't be the last time.
Twelve Angry Men
My friend and I really enjoyed this play. It was interesting to see all the different personalities involved in this one! It was funny, sad and interesting at the same time!
12 Angry Men
This was one of your best productions. There were many familiar faces (which I like). They did a very believeable production. It was very enjoyable.
Ensemble Acting
A very polished, professional production, from the set to the individual performers that culminated in a perfect example of ensemble acting. A superb show. Kudos to all involved, with a special notice to Gene Schulte, especially in his powerful, (yet awful in context) diatribe against "those people."
