Briana Rose Lipor now in the Sunset Spotlight. Briana returns to the Sunset stage as Mary in MARY POPPINS which runs October 11 – November 4th and is the perfect show for the entire family.
When did you first become involved at Sunset Playhouse and what areas have you been involved with here at the Playhouse?
My first and only other involvement was as Irene Molloy in HELLO, DOLLY!
If you are working on a Sunset show right now, what is your role?
Mary Poppins in MARY POPPINS.
If an actor, what has been your favorite role to date and what is your dream role? If a Production Team member, which show have you most enjoyed working on? What show would you like to do in the future?
My favorite role to date would have to be Ariel in THE LITTLE MERMAID. I grew up watching THE LITTLE MERMAID so it was a dream come true to bring Ariel to life on stage! My dream role, that I have yet to check off my list, is Eliza Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY.
What do you enjoy most about the Sunset?
I love the community that comes with participating in a Sunset production. When you’re in a show there you definitely feel the love! I also love how professional the production quality is, they really know how to take community theatre to the next level!
When not at Sunset, how do you spend your time?
Outside of working my many many jobs, I can be found doing just about anything outdoors! I love hiking, biking, kayaking and working out.
What is your favorite color/food/movie/TV show/book/musical or play?
My favorite color is up for debate, blue or green. Favorite food is without a doubt a pink sprinkle donut.
