Sunset School for the Arts is producing HOW I BECAME A PIRATE YOUNGER@PART. Join us for this opportunity to perform on our Sunset Playhouse Marla Eichmann Studio Theater stage. This exciting program will give students the experience of going through an entire rehearsal and performance process. Participants will learn theater skills as they move through the magical process of producing a musical. All Students who register are cast in the production. Auditions occur on the first day of the session.

Sail off on a fantastic musical excursion when a band of comical pirates lands at North Beach looking for an expert digger to join their crew. Braid Beard and his mates enlist young Jeremy Jacob as they look for the perfect spot to bury their treasure. Jeremy learns that adventuring can be lots of fun, but love and home are treasures you can’t find on any map.

Announcing our 2026 JR Musical Audition Series – Legally Blonde JR
Auditions are available for students entering grades 7 – 12 for the 2026-2027 academic school year. ALL STUDENTS interested in being cast in LEGALLY BLONDE JR must audition. Actors must be available for ALL tech rehearsals and performances to be cast.
Tuition of $280 will be assessed upon the acceptance of a role – There is NO FEE to audition.
Audition Date:
June 30 @ 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Actors are asked to stay for the whole audition time.
