The Playhouse is a place to learn and grow. If you are a student interested in learning more about theater, we offer many options for you to get valuable hands-on experience with our experienced professional staff. Internship opportunities are based on the current need of The Playhouse. Please note, all internships are unpaid but the experience is valuable.
We are looking for interns in the following areas:
If you want to learn the ins and outs of arts administration we will give you practical experience about how to manage artists and staff, deal with budgets, and celebrate the great value of the art you produce as an artistic administrator. Contact Business Manager/Volunteer Coordinator Brooke Olson at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
The Playhouse has always been a teaching theater, and our innovative approach to fun and engaging theater education for all ages through our School for The Arts offers intern opportunities throughout the year. Work with professionals in any of our classes or lend your hand in producing our bug in a rug Children’s Theater series. Contact Education Director Erika Navin at email@example.com for more details.
If your interests lie in the technical aspects of theater, The Playhouse has opportunities to learn the craft year round. Contact Technical Director Matt Carr at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
All interns are eligible to receive university credit for their work.
