Welcome to Worldwide Mega Corporation’s annual Stockholders’ Meeting and Employee of the Year Awards Celebration. This year, the corporation’s president Donald Trumpet has scheduled a special surprise: he’ll unveil the long-awaited Internal Auditor’s Report that details all the corporate budget misappropriations, office romances, and internal politics. Don’t be surprised if some heads should roll — literally.
Performed in the Marla Eichmann Studio Theater.
Characters
Betsey Crocker* – As hostess of the “Worldwide Mega Corporation Variety Hour and Infomercial,” Betsey disburses helpful — and perhaps fatal –household hints.
Irwin R. Snively* – As Internal Auditor, Irwin knows exactly where all the corporate skeletons are in Worldwide’s offices.
Cherry Aimless, RN – Head of Worldwide’s health care services division, Cherry’s life is the pits since her disastrous wedding ceremony.
Ivan D. (I.D.) Badge – Worldwide’s director of security knows that to be successful, he must think like a criminal. Did he go too far this time?
Mark E. DeSade – A former football coach, Mark wants to “whip” Worldwide’s corporate offices into his own personal empire.
Ben E. Fitts – As head of human resources, Ben knows what’s personal in everyone’s personnel files.
Drucilla Gotrocks – As Chief Stockholder in the Worldwide Mega Corporation, Drucilla has the resources to buy anything — and anyone — she wants.
Marla LeMoxie Trumpet – A former chorus girl, Marla snared the top fish in the Worldwide corporate empire. What will her future conquests be?
Seymour Picketts – Nobody knows their way around a bargaining table better than union leader Seymour Picketts. Is he also negotiating murder?
Donald Trumpet – America’s most notorious business tycoon, multi-trillionaire Donald Trumpet clawed his way to the top of the corporate ladder at Worldwide — at the expense of almost everyone else.
Fabio Tootcherown-Trumpet – Donald’s identical twin half-brother, Fabio makes up in charm and good looks what he lacks in ambition.
Nancy Trumpet Flackmaster – As Worldwide’s PR pro, Nancy can put a positive spin on anything — including murder.
Agnes Whiteout – Donald’s loyal but unstable private secretary, Agnes is always at risk of slipping into one of her many multiple personalities.
