From the ‘50s to the ‘70s teen idols flooded the airwaves with songs about puppy love and broken hearts. Ricky Nelson grew from a skinny kid into a full-fledged dreamboat. And who could sing with more intensity than Connie Francis? You’ll hear songs by Gene Pitney, Lesley Gore … and don’t forget all those Bobbys — Vee, Vinton, and Rydell.
