Who’s Who
Kelly Clifton – Judy Garland
A long-time Judy Garland fan, Kelly is thrilled to be cast as this legend. A Musical Theater graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, she has spent the last twenty years performing in regional theater productions across the country and abroad. While based in NYC, Kelly’s favorite gigs were THE WHO’S TOMMY at Perseverance Theatre in Juneau, AK and her two-year run with the Gyonggi English Village Theater in Paju, South Korea. She spent five years in Salt Lake City as a company performer for Desert Star Playhouse, where she also directed its youth program.
Since relocating to Milwaukee, Kelly has enjoyed singing lead with several local cover bands, and is a regular on both professional stages at Sunset Playhouse. Her favorite roles of all time are Mom and Wife to her superfans at home.
Doug Jarecki – Carl Slovak
Doug is excited to be part of this production and particularly excited to work with Michael Duncan again, who has had a huge influence on Doug over the years. Truly, Michael’s encouragement is the reason that Doug has so many different areas of interest in his life. You see, every time Doug auditioned for one of Michael’s shows, Michael would encourage him to try something other than acting. Heck, he practically begged him to get off the stage.
When not listening to Michael’s words of encouragement, Doug can be seen on many local stages, including Next Act, Skylight, and Fireside. He also co-founded the children’s theater company Kidsplay, was the Director of Education at Waukesha Civic Theatre for sixteen years, and has recently started teaching improv classes at local senior residences. Enjoy the show!
Johnny Rodgers – Roger Stevens
Johnny is an internationally-celebrated singer-songwriter, pianist, Broadway veteran, recording artist, and an Ambassador of American Music for the U.S. Department of State. Johnny has earned New York’s Nightlife, Bistro, and MAC awards for performances at Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel, Feinstein’s at Loews Regency, and other premiere clubs. His songwriting has been recognized with Billboard and ASCAP Foundation awards. Sunset audiences have enjoyed Johnny’s New Year’s Eve concerts and his appearances in our Musical MainStage and SideNotes Cabaret series. He invites you to visit johnnyrodgers.com.
Michael Duncan – Author/Producer/Director
Michael, a former Managing Artistic Director for Sunset Playhouse, returns to its Studio Theater with his new world-premiere musical I CAN GO ON, SINGING!
Michael has teamed up with Wisconsin composer and arranger Terry Dillon for this production and for their other new work, DOOR’S OPEN! looking forward to a 2026 premiere. He has also just completed the book and lyrics for his newest musical, THE ROSE OF THE WELLS, an adaptation of a 19th century comedy by Arthur Pinero set in the burgeoning NYC early days of the American music hall tradition and Broadway theater.
Michael has been directing, acting, writing, producing, and designing professionally for over 50 years. He is the founder of Fiddlin’ Theatrical LLC, a member of Actors Equity Association, and an emeritus member of the Wisconsin Presenters Network.
Terry Dillon – Composer/Arranger

After teaching in Dubuque, IA and Lancaster, WI, Terry attended California’s Dick Grove School of Music, receiving a certificate of completion in the Composing Arranging program. He then spent the next several years traveling throughout the Midwest performing as a keyboardist with a variety of musical groups. During this time, Terry also spent 2-1/2 months in the Mediterranean on a USO tour. He continues to perform with area groups, most notably the Ken Kilian music ensembles.
As a composer/arranger, his musical arrangements have been performed by many area schools as well as the University of Iowa Marching Band and the Dubuque Symphony in Dubuque, IA. Terry has been involved in more than 175 musical theater productions as music director, rehearsal pianist, and pit musician for public school, college, and community theater venues. He also serves as a Collaborative Pianist for public school choral programs in the tristate area.
