Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious terrain of suburban Illinois. Thrust into the social jungle of North Shore High, she must quickly learn how popularity works—and what it costs.
So how does Cady rise in the popularity pecking order? By going undercover as an aspiring Plastic. But when the lines between the real Cady and her Plastic self-start to blur, she must find her way back to who she is—and to her true friends.
Packed with biting humor, high-energy dance numbers, and razor-sharp social satire, MEAN GIRLS skewers high school politics while delivering big laughs and surprising heart.
