“Social Security” focuses on trendy Manhattan art gallery owners Barbara and David Kahn, whose chic and sophisticated life is turned upside down when her housewife sister deposits their eccentric mother on the couple’s doorstep while she and her husband head to Buffalo to rescue their sexually precocious daughter from a ménage a trios.
The comic sparks fully ignite when Barbara and David introduce her mother to a nonagenarian artist who offers to paint her portrait and to brighten her life in ways she never expected in her twilight years.
