  1. When did you first become involved at Sunset Playhouse and what areas have you been involved with here at the Playhouse?

My first show was South Pacific in the summer of 1982 under the direction of Alan Furlan. I’ve been involved with sixteen Sunset productions. Thirteen on stage, and three as a stage hand.

  1. If you are working on a Sunset show right now, what is your role?

Currently I am in A COMEDY OF TENORS as Tito and Beppo.

  1. If an actor, what has been your favorite role to date and what is your dream role? If a Production Team member, which show have you most enjoyed working on? What show would you like to do in the future?

My favorite role has been Motel the Taylor in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at Sunset. Someday I
would love to play Uncle Fester in THE ADDAMS FAMILY.

  1. What do you enjoy most about the Sunset?

Sunset is an amazing, almost magical place. The building has changed over the years, but Sunset is about people and relationships. As the years go by we lose old friends, but we gain new ones. Sunset will always be a place that will make room for anyone with a dream and/ or a purpose. It is welcoming, and the doors are always open to all kinds of people. Sunset is our little island of escape and adventure!

  1. When not at Sunset, how do you spend your time?

When not at Sunset I enjoy working at Brookfield Central HS as their Student Supervisor. I enjoy
working with the students, along with being an announcer for most of the BC sports teams. I own a
DJ business of 35 years, and still enjoy being the DJ for wedding receptions, Private parties, and
    any joyful event!

  1. What is your favorite color/food/movie/TV show/book/musical or play?

Blue, pizza, THE GODFATHER, AMERICAN PICKERS, OF MICE AND MEN, CAROUSEL

  1. What is your favorite quote?

“Stay away from negative people. They have a problem for every solution.”  (Einstein)

  1. Any other comments?

I know I’m not the world’s greatest actor. If I were, I’d be in London or New York making acting my
career. What I love about the Sunset Playhouse is that it is a place where people with a passion
for theatre can enjoy the experience! Sunset is the closest thing to professional theatre. The stage,
lights, the audience… Thank you for 37 years of wonderful memories!!
