Brooke Olson now in the Sunset Spotlight. Brooke first came to Sunset as the Stage Manager for HELLO, DOLLY! and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. After graduating from UWM with a degree in stage management and a stint at a theater in Minnesota, Brook is back in the Milwaukee area and we are excited to welcome her back to Sunset in her new role of Volunteer/Production Coordinator/Office Manager.
- When did you first become involved at Sunset Playhouse and what areas have you been involved with here at the Playhouse?
I started at sunset in the spring of 2017. I was the Stage Manager for HELLO, DOLLY! I was also the Stage Manager for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST in the fall of 2017.
- If you are working on a Sunset show right now, what is your role?
I am the new Production/Volunteer Coordinator/ Office Manager here at Sunset.
- If an actor, what has been your favorite role to date and what is your dream role? If a Production Team member, which show have you most enjoyed working on? What show would you like to do in the future?
- What do you enjoy most about the Sunset?
I enjoy the welcoming atmosphere. Sunset is a fun place to be and the staff and volunteers here are so welcoming and helpful.
- When not at Sunset, how do you spend your time?
In my free time i like to kayak in Oconomowoc, ride my motorcycle, spend time with family and friends, and cuddle with my cats: Sir Remington Charles and Dominic.
