Linda Wirth in the Sunset Spotlight. Linda will play Ethel in our first Furlan Auditorium Production of the 2016-17 Season: MOON OVER BUFFALO which is being directed by Michael Pocaro.
- When did you first become involved at Sunset Playhouse and what areas have you been involved with here at the Playhouse?
I first became involved with Sunset Playhouse last year with a production of STEEL MAGNOLIAS, where I played Quiser.
- If you are working on a Sunset show right now, what is your role?
I am currently in rehearsal for MOON OVER BUFFALO, in the very funny role of Ethel.
- If an actor, what has been your favorite role to date and what is your dream role?
I did a lot of musicals, so I guess my favorite role is Ella in BELLS ARE RINGING but recently I got to do the iconic Lady Bracknell in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST at SummerStage in Delafield and that was quite wonderful. My dream roles would be Mrs. Lovett in SWEENEY TODD and Amanda in THE GLASS MENAGERIE.
What do you enjoy most about the Sunset?
The thing I most enjoy about Sunset is the friendliness. I really like the comraderie.
- When not at Sunset, how do you spend your time?
In my free time, I enjoy painting…and thrift shopping, REALLY love that!!
- What is your favorite color/food/movie/TV show/book/musical or play?
Green, pasta, Some Like it Hot, Blue Bloods, To Kill a Mockingbird and MAN OF LA MANCHA
