Teagan Stager, who is currently stage managing our hit musical, ALL SHOOK UP, which runs April 23 – May 10th, now is the Sunset Spotlight.
When did you first become involved at Sunset Playhouse and what areas have you been involved with here at the Playhouse?
I first started theater at Sunset Playhouse just over a year ago! I started out as a teacher with the School for the Arts, and have now expanded to house managing, stage managing, and working on projects all around the space. It is so fun to get to work in so many spaces !
If you are working on a Sunset show right now, what is your role?
I am currently the stage manager for All Shook Up!
If an actor, what has been your favorite role to date and what is your dream role? If a Production Team member, which show have you most enjoyed working on? What show would you like to do in the future?
I used to act more often, an my favorite role has been Mrs. Savage in The Curious Savage. I would love to play Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical !
Stage Management wise – I’ve loved my time working on All Shook Up, and I would love to be able to work on Bright Star!
What do you enjoy most about the Sunset?
I love the community that grows at Sunset Playhouse! I have felt so loved and welcome since the first day I walked in the front door, and I have truly found my space here 🙂
When not at Sunset, how do you spend your time?
When not at Sunset, I work in an elementary school! Outside of work, I love to read, craft, and spend time with my friends.
What is your favorite color/food/movie/TV show/book/musical or play?
I love yellow and coral pink, vegetarian tacos, 10 Things I Hate About You, Gilmore Girls, When I Was You by Amber Garza, and The Curious Savage!
