How did you first start volunteering at Sunset?
Patti Peplinski called me one night and asked if I would be interested in filling if for her husband Rick who could not help usher. After trying to say I didn’t know what I was to do and how helpful I would be she convinced me to try. I did and am so happy I did. One of my better decisions.
Do you have a funny Sunset story?
After cutting some 200 objects for a bug in the rug craft project, my hand was sore and tired. A little girl told me I was a good cutter and should get a job cutting things. I laughed silently and just thanked her.
When you’re not at Sunset, what do you like to do?
I LOVE to travel. Covid has been a bummer! In addition, I teach swimming to people with special needs for the Milwaukee public schools recreation department. I also like to read historical fiction and mysteries, work on genealogy and play with/walk my dog, Atti (short for Attitude)
What’s your favorite part about theater?
The People – I love interacting with the patrons, the performers and the staff. They all have their own stories to share.
THANK YOU ON BEHALF OF SUNSET PLAYHOUSE AND OUR PATRONS!
