How did you first start volunteering at Sunset?
I started with an audition for Something Rotten. It was my first in person audition since COVID! I was so nervous I messed up my entrance to my audition song and had to start over. I thought I bombed! Somehow they wanted me back and I got in the show!
Do you have a funny Sunset story?
One night after the show as we were all getting ready to leave, one of the guys was talking about going out to see his friend Leah and her husband Eli. That caught my attention as my brother in law Eli was seeing the show that night with his wife Leah, but I thought that had to have been a coincidence. Turns out it wasn’t, as my castmate went to school with my brother-in-law’s wife! Small world!
When you’re not at Sunset, what do you like to do?
I love to play DnD with my friends and spend time with my wife Emma and dog Stark.
What’s your favorite part about theater?
I love the community and comradery. Everyone is always there to celebrate your successes and commiserate when you are feeling down.
