How did you first start volunteering at Sunset?
My first Sunset show was “Baby”, in the 1990-91 season. I hadn’t been on stage in 10 years, and I was so excited to get cast in a Sunset production. Since then, I’ve been in 11 additional productions, plus several Musical Mainstage Shows and many other activities.
Do you have a funny Sunset story?
It’s more sweet than funny, but I met my husband, Ralph during “Broadway Romance” in the 1998-99 season. In one of our scenes together, we had to be a couple who hated each other. We’ve now been married for 25 years and we still do theater together.
When you’re not at Sunset, what do you like to do?
I love playing golf (about as much as I love theater). We also love to travel, and spending time snorkeling and beach bumming, especially in our favorite place St. John, USUI.
What’s your favorite part about theater?
I always think it’s amazing when a group of people from all walks of life and all different levels of theater experience, can come together to share their talents and passion. It’s very therapeutic for me, and I’ve made so many wonderful friends in the past 35 years.
