How did you first start volunteering at Sunset?
This is my first show at Sunset Playhouse, and I’m so excited to be a part of such a great production! I heard about auditions through friends who had performed in the past and thought I’d throw my hat in the ring! I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to perform again, especially with such a wonderful cast and crew.
Do you have a funny Sunset Story?
Honestly, every rehearsal is a funny story! The entire cast is so willing to go along with comedic bits that the whole practice turns into who can make who laugh the most! Right now, my favorite bit is when a group of us begin acting like cats nudging a pencil off a table. When the pencil finally drops we all point at each other accusatorially and it’s so fun to see how many people we can rope into the bit!
When you’re not at Sunset, what do you like to do?
I’m currently finishing up my Versatile Voice BFA and will be graduating in December of ’26! Other than performing and singing, I love watching movies and tv shows, playing piano, skateboarding, and spending time with friends – I also enjoy a good walk to collect various treasures like twigs and rocks!
What’s your favorite part about theater?
I love when we’ve perfected the show and all get into a sort of flow state that allows us to truly connect to our characters and each other! I also love how easy it is to connect.
