Sunset Playhouse is a place to learn and grow. If you are a student interested in learning more about theater, we offer many options for you to get valuable hands-on experience. Internship opportunities are based on the current need of The Playhouse.
We are looking for interns in the following areas:
Production
If your interests lie in the technical aspects of theater, The Playhouse has opportunities to learn the craft year round.

If you want to learn the ins and outs of arts administration we will give you practical experience about how to manage artists and staff, deal with budgets, and celebrate the great value of the art you produce as an artistic administrator.

Education
The Playhouse has always been a teaching theater, and our innovative approach to fun and engaging theater education for all ages through our School for The Arts offers internship opportunities throughout the year. Work with professionals in any of our classes or lend your hand in producing our bug in a rug Children’s Theater series.
