Please join us in welcoming Katie Johnson, Resident Technical Director/Designer
Sunset is thrilled to announce that, after extensive interviews, we have hired as our new Resident Technical Director/Designer Katie Johnson (or KJ).
Katie holds a BFA in Theater Design and Technology from Nebraska Wesleyan University, considered one of the top 25 theater schools in the country. While there, she served as a Teaching Assistant and as part of the school’s production design team for more than 30 shows per school year. Katie has also served as the Technical Director at both Arrowhead High School and Pius XI High School, of which she is a proud graduate. She has extensive skills in carpentry, CAD, sound and video editing, and describes herself as “organized, fun, and energetic.” In her spare time, she loves to golf and served as the golf coach at Pius.
Katie will assume her new position on November 28, 2022 and we know you’ll join us in welcoming KJ to the Sunset family!
