A Full-Circle Moment: Erin Fricker Returns to Sunset Playhouse in Annie

From her very first musical at age seven to returning to the Sunset Playhouse stage more than a decade later, Erin Fricker’s journey with Annie is a special full-circle moment.

In 2011, a seven-year-old Erin Fricker stepped onto the Sunset Playhouse stage for her very first musical, Annie, playing the role of Molly. Now, 14 years later, she’s returning to the same stage and the same beloved production, this time taking on the role of Grace Farrell.

For Erin, it’s an exciting opportunity to revisit a show that helped start her love of musical theater.

From Molly to Grace Farrell

Erin’s first experience with musical theater began right here at Sunset Playhouse. As Molly, the youngest orphan in Annie, she got her first taste of performing on stage.

Today, Erin returns for her third production at Sunset Playhouse, stepping into a very different role.

As Grace Farrell, the kindhearted assistant to Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks, Erin helps tell the story of Annie’s journey toward finding a place to call home. While Molly and Grace are very different characters, both play an important part in the warmth and heart that make Annie such a memorable production.

Returning to the musical where it all began makes this performance especially meaningful.
