ADDED PERFORMANCE AT SIDENOTES CABARET!
Sunset Playhouse and SideNotes Cabaret have announced that tickets will go on sale Wednesday, October 25 at 1PM for an additional matinee performance of DEAN MARTIN’S COOL YULE. The added performance on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2023 AT 2PM features the combined vocal talents of RYAN CHARLES, JOHNNY RODGERS, and LIZ SARGENT (BALTES). They will perform many of Dino’s most popular songs along with other material appropriate to the holiday season. SideNotes Cabarets are presented in the Marla Eichmann Studio Theater of Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove, Wisconsin.
RYAN CHARLES is known from his work with Sunset’s Musical MainStage Concert Series, In Tandem Theatre, Skylight Music Theatre, and Boulevard Theatre. He also performs as featured singer with Platinum show band and North Coast Orchestra big band. JOHNNY ROGERS is an internationally celebrated singer-songwriter, pianist, Broadway veteran, and recording artist. He has earned New York’s Nightlife, Bistro, and MAC awards for performances at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. LIZ SARGENT (BALTES) has appeared on Broadway, at Lincoln Center, and in several national tours. Locally, she is a veteran of many Skylight Music Theatre, First Stage Children’s Theatre, and Musical MainStage productions. DEAN MARTIN’S COOL YULE is produced, written, and directed by PEGGY PETERSON RYAN. She has been a part of the SideNotes Cabaret Series since its inception in 2008 and is well-known to audiences from her appearances in the cabarets and the Musical MainStage Concerts.
The trio of vocalists will be accompanied by NEAL BARDELE on piano, HAL MILLER on bass, and JIM RYAN on drums. Bardele is a versatile pianist, performing as a soloist, small ensemble leader, vocal accompanist, and member of larger bands. Miller has performed with Louie Bellson, Bob Hope, The Four Lads, and a variety of other entertainers. In addition to frequent appearances at the SideNotes Cabaret, Ryan freelances and maintains a private drum instruction studio.
