CALIFORNIA ROCK: Musical MainStage, March 4-5, 2024. Meet the Cast

Is all that California rockin’ another earthquake? No, just a tuneful tribute to West Coast bands and artists like the Doors (Light My Fire)Doobie Brothers (Listen to the Music, Black Water), and Jefferson Airplane (White Rabbit), not to mention a little Journey, Eagles, Toto, Santana, and 3 Dog Night. C’mon, let’s Take it to the Limit one more time

Meet the Cast:

RYAN CHARLES is a regular on both our professional stages, including ELVIS, MOTOWN, SOUNDS OF SOUL, EAGLES, BEATLES, JOURNEY, ROCK CLASSICS, WE WILL ROCK YOU, BILLY JOEL, ROCK ROYALTY, LEGENDS OF AMERICAN ROCK, and COOL YULE. Other credits include In Tandem Theatre and Skylight Music Theatre.

With a BA in Musical Theater from the University of Northern Colorado, KELLY CLIFTON has performed in a wide variety of regional and children’s theaters throughout Colorado, Utah, Montana, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Alaska, and even South Korea. Kelly also rocks out regularly with her band, Sound Therapy.
 
We counted—this is TOMMY HAHN’s 20th appearance! Other credits include Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Skylight Music Theatre, Fireside Theatre, Marriott Theatre at Lincolnshire, Northlight Theatre, and Chicago’s Broadway Playhouse. Tommy is also the lead singer of the award-winning Milwaukee band The 5 Card Studs as well as a member of Tenors MKE.
 
Our Rising Star, LILY NIELSON, is a senior at Wauwatosa East High School, where she is the president of its theater club and will be seen soon as Fiona in SHREK: THE MUSICAL. Sunset audiences may remember Lily from Sunset’s world premiere of DAD’S SEASON TICKETS (Cordy).  
 
KENDALL YORKEY most recently appeared as Lorelei Lee in Bombshell Theater Company’s production of GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES. Other favorite roles include Martha in THE SECRET GARDEN, Mrs. Shelby in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, The Other Mother in CORALINE THE MUSICAL, and Janet van de Graaf in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE.

The show will also feature Kerry Bieneman on keys, Pat Hopkins on drums, Tom Koehn on guitar, plus Susan Loveridge and guest host Tommy Lueck offering play-by-play.
